FOTD 10.11.2012 ~ Make Peace with Fake Lashes

I used to hate fake lashes. Really hate it so much. The heavy, uncomfortable feeling, itchiness like your eyes were exposed to huge amount of dusts and dirt... Eww... However, since I started to blog, my big sister -which is a huge fan of fake lashes- always insisted me to wear one, so my eyes would look more appealing on pics. So then she gave me several pairs of her natural-looking fake lashes she bought in Bangkok, Thailand. Unfortunately, I FORGOT TO TAKE THE PIC OF THE LASHES THEMSELVES!!!

So then I test drove the lashes on Saturday. I picked Saturday because I'll be having a family dinner in accordance to my brother in law's birthday (his actual birthday happens to be on November 8th, the same day as my anniversary >.< Our family usually held a birthday dinner on the closest Saturday to the actual birthday date). My theme for the day was pink. :D

On the zoomed pic above, I add more brightness via Instagram. I guess my blush shows up better on the darker pic. lol.. FYI, I didn't edit anything else aside brightness.
Anyway, the lashes weren't too obvious, since it's only the natural-looking style.

Face Powder : M.A.C Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder in "Light Plus" + Shiseido AquaLabel Moist Powdery in B010 (note : at first I applied M.A.C and went to church, then after going home -before the dinner-, I did some touch up with Shiseido)
Contour and Highlight : Sleek Contour Kit in "Light"
Eye Primer : E.L.F. Studio Eye Primer and Line Sealer - Primer side
Eyebrow : E.L.F. Studio Eyebrow Kit in "Medium"
Eyeshadow : Revlon Wet/Dry Quad Shadow in "Pink Tulle"
Eyeliner : Physician's Formula Gel Eyeliner for Blue Eyes - "Brown"
Blush : Milani Baked Blush in "Dolce Pink + NARS Blush On in "Deep Throat (similar with powder, I did the touch up with NARS)
Lip Color : Bobbi Brown Rich Lip Color in "11. Rose Blossom"

Well, this marks my reconciliation with fake lashes. Lol. What do you guys think? Do I look better with or without lashes? Your opinion will be helpful ><
