[SPONSORED] REVIEW : Mizzu Pen Eyeliner in "Black"

A few weeks ago, my friend Bunny Beaute Cosmetica offered me to review one of her item. It's Mizzu Pen Eyeliner in "Black"

I guess you foreigner folks are unfamiliar with Mizzu, right?
Well, Mizzu is a local makeup brand that raised to popularity recently. At first they only produce this black pen eyeliner, but I heard they also produce a brown liner as well as mascara. To my surprise, this product is ridiculously cheap! Only IDR 25,000 (approx. USD 2.00) a piece. However, does the quality go beyond its price, or it's a disappointment? We'll see. ;D

The outer packaging is a black mica plastic box. The pen itself is just a simple pen with the brand and product name printed on. Doesn't look cheap at all, but there's nothing too special nor memorable. xDD

This eyeliner has a felt tip. The tip is pretty stiff, but not hard that hurting or poking the eyes. It's easy to make thin and precise line as well as dramatic cat eye. Beginners will also find this easy to apply.

While the tip is pretty "helpful", the color is a disappointment for me. It's not opaque at all, leaving a less black result on eyes. You'll need to reapply to achieve a more intense color. 

p.s. : I know... my hooded lid hid the liner. see below. xDD

Mizzu claims this eyeliner to be waterproof and smudgeproof. I've tested it myself, and here's the result :

Upon being submerged with water, the product stayed put nicely. However, when I rubbed it, it disappeared! As you can see in the picture, half part of swatch is fading away. I think this product is better called "washable" than waterproof...? xDD

For the smudge test, I've tried rubbing it directly, and it is indeed smudgeproof.

Bottom line :

For IDR 25,000, this is a very decent product. The packaging is nice and the tip really make application easier. However, the color isn't very opaque, making it hard to define the eyes. It's a good eyeliner for beginners who want to learn applying liquid liners.
